The Day the Crayons Quit by Oliver Jeffers. Duncan wants to color but his crayons have quit. They have had enough! If you like funny books like Don't Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus, you will love this book.

Locomotive by Brian Floca. This Caldecott Medal Book is about the history of trains. It is impossible to turn a page and not learn something cool and interesting about trains! Your mom and dad will love this book too.
